The founding optical masterpiece that introduced the Leica SL mirrorless system.
Launched alongside the original Leica SL (Typ 601) in October 2015, the Vario-Elmarit-SL 24–90mm f/2.8–4 ASPH made a bold statement: prime-lens-grade optical performance across an extended standard-to-portrait range. Equipped with sophisticated optical image stabilization (OIS) compensating up to 3.5 stops, internal focusing, and impervious weather sealing, this lens set the benchmark for mirrorless optical rendering.
