徠卡 M-A（Typ 127）於 2014 年發布，是品牌 33 年來首款完全機械的 M 系列機身，無測光表、無任何電子元件，快門在沒有電池的情況下依然可以正常運作。設計靈感來自 M2，連標誌性的紅點 Logo 也省略了。對新手而言：純機械意味著相機永遠不會因電池耗盡而無法拍攝，但你需要自備測光表或使用 Sunny 16 法則來判斷曝光。
